ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The City of Albuquerque's Twinkle Light Parade is returning to Nob Hill on Saturday, Dec. 2 and will follow its usual path on Central Ave. beginning at Washington St. traveling west to Girard Blvd. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9.   

Last year, the Twinkle Light Parade was voted the 2nd best holiday parade in the nation in USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, coming in ahead of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Categories include:
  • Animal walking group: Animal groups including clubs and equestrians without a vehicle.
  • Commercial: All business entries including floats, walking, vehicles.
  • Non-commercial: All groups, families, community organizations, and clubs. May include riders and walkers.
  • Large walking group: Walking groups with 20 or more participants without vehicles.
  • Small walking group: Walking groups with 1-19 participants without vehicles.
  • Government: All government and military entries.
  • Show vehicle: 1-2 vehicles for show purposes. No commercial entries.
  • Car club or motorcycle club: 3-6 cars or up to 12 motorcycles.
