ALBUQUERQUE, NM – October, 16, 2013 – Vernon’s Steakhouse is excited to announce that YouTube has partnered with the efforts to promote Walter White’s funeral and final amends. Walter White will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park at 4:30pm this Saturday, October 19, 2013 and YouTube will stream the procession and funeral live to the world. YouTube has kindly donated all of the services needed to do so.

The Walter White Funeral and Final Amends is a charity event brought to you by Vernon’s Hidden Valley Steakhouse, with support from their resident "Goomba" Jackamoe Buzzell, donated web services from oneheadlightink.com, donated chocolate for attendees at the funeral and reception from Joliesse Chocolates, and committed staff from Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless (AHCH), and Albuquerque Community Foundation.

All proceeds from the funeral, reception, additional purchases and donations go to the Vernon’s Steakhouse Walter White Endowment Fund at the Albuquerque Community Foundation benefitting AHCH.

Michael Baird, owner of Vernon’s Steakhouse states the, “Walter White funeral and final amends has been so well received from people all over the world that we have fans coming in from Colorado, North Carolina, Texas and even Canada to attend the funeral and Vernon's reception. We have sold Walter White bracelets throughout the United States and even to people in Great Britain, Brazil and the Ukraine.” One donor from the Midwest offered this statement when asked what compelled him to give, "I'm honestly a huge Breaking Bad fan and I saw that someone was having a Walter White Memorial to benefit Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless and it moved me that a ground breaking TV show could spark a response that could actually help people."

In addition to the Walter White funeral, part of Saturday's event will include a memorial tribute to the lost lives of DEA Agents, Hank Schrader and Steven Gomez, and "Apology Girl", Jane Margolis whom played Jesse's girlfriend and died on the show from a heroin overdose. A replica of the iconic Breaking Bad RV and the actual SUV that carried "Hank" & "Gomez" to their fate will be part of the procession and funeral.
