WHAT: The Western Music Association rolls back into town this Thursday, November 19th for the 21st Annual Showcase & Awards Show. Free daytime events include yodeling and harmony contests, a harmonica workshop, vendor shows, a DJ panel, live performances and more.

WHEN: Thursday, November 19th – Saturday, November 21st

WHERE: Marriott Uptown Hotel, 2101 Louisiana Blvd NE

COST: Daytime shows are free and open to the public. Tickets for evening shows may be pre-ordered and picked up on site at the WMA Registration Desk. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

DETAILS: On Friday, November 20th, Marvin & Theresa O’Dell will host a Chuckwagon Dinner & Friday Night Opry featuring some of best in Western music. Appearances by singer/songwriter Donnie Blanz, Gary Allegretto, Lynn Anderson, Stampede, R.W. Hampton and many more. Tickets range from $10 - $45. Dinner starts at 6:30pm with the Opry to follow at 7pm. On Saturday, WMA President, Jon Messenger, will host the WMA Awards Show at 7pm featuring Song of the Year nominees and performances by past award winners.
