The Revolutions International Theatre Festival is a three-week celebration of the best in world theatre across venues in beautiful Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Revolutions is the premiere theatrical festival in New Mexico, and attracts audiences
from across the country to experience a one-of-a-kind cultural event. Featuring Mainstage performances, special events and audience/artist cultural exchange, the Southwest explodes with the best of the world stage this January!
Featured performances from companies representing Pakistan, Israel, Russia, Poland, Canada, Spain, New York, Los Angeles and Albuquerque will thrill, edify and entertain audiences with their unique live performances. Revolutions seeks out only the most progressive, exciting and unique artists from around the globe to participate, giving audiences a moving, provocative and unforgettable theatrical experience. In addition to the Mainstage performances, Revolutions audiences are treated to special events, including The Reptilian Lounge, a high-octane, late-night cabaret featuring new live performances from local and touring artists, The Free Speech Comedy Art Series, a collection of the funniest, most intelligent stand-up artists created by Revolutions founder Joe Peracchio and comedian and filmmaker Paul Provenza (The Aristocrats), and weekly gatherings for artists and audience, featuring contests, special performances and much, much more!
