“This was very well received by passengers last summer, so I think Rail Runner customers will be happy to see it return this summer”, says Dewey Cave, Executive Director, Mid-Region Council of Governments.
Performances will take place only on northbound train #506 and southbound train #509 between the Downtown Albuquerque Rail Runner station and the Santa Fe Depot station. Each month will feature new Shakespeare scenes. Saturdays in June will feature romance scenes; while mid-July through August will showcase comedic scenes.

"We’re thrilled to be bringing this project to the Rail Runner again this summer. Doing Shakespeare in this setting is a bit quirky, a bit challenging, and lots of fun”, says Lauren Albonico, Director of Shakespeare on the Rail.
