ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Visit Albuquerque (Visit Albuquerque) announces several staff changes and additions in our leisure marketing group, which is part of the Marketing, Communications & Tourism Division.

Megan Mayo, Communications & Tourism Manager
Megan Mayo has been with Visit Albuquerque for more than five years. Her position was recently expanded from Communications Manager to Communications and Tourism Manager. Mayo oversees travel media relations, management of Visit Albuquerque’s public relations efforts, and communications projects, and now oversees the travel trade marketing as well. Prior to Visit Albuquerque, Megan worked in marketing at Jane Butel’s Cooking School in Albuquerque and the College of Human Ecology at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.

Kelly Ryan, Communications & Tourism Coordinator
Visit Albuquerque welcomes Kelly Ryan as the new Communications & Tourism Coordinator. Ryan works directly with Mayo with responsibilities in travel trade and media relations. Ryan is the primary contact for group tour operators and travel trade contacts. Prior to joining Visit Albuquerque, Kelly worked for the Best Western Trail Lodge in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and she also interned at the Wisconsin Department of Tourism and MGM MIRAGE in Las Vegas. Kelly graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.

Tania Armenta, VP of Marketing, Communications and Tourism, oversees the Marketing, Communications & Tourism Division and has been with the Visit Albuquerque for 11 years.
