Sandia Peak Ski Area will resume full summer operations beginning Saturday July 23rd when the Sandia Ranger District returns to Stage II Fire Restrictions in the Cibola National Forest. Fire danger remains extreme and visitors are still asked to remain vigilant.

Scenic summer chairlift rides, lift accessed mountain biking and hiking trails will reopen beginning Saturday, July 23, 2011. Visitors will be able to access the mountain via the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway or via the Crest Scenic Byway NM 536.

All mountain facilities including mountain bike rentals at the Sandia Peak Sports Shop and the Double Eagle Café at the base area lodge will be open including mountain bike rentals at the top of chairlift #1.

Sandia Peak Ski Area: Friday – Sunday & Holidays: 10AM – 4PM
High Finance Restaurant: Open Daily serving lunch & dinner daily
Sandiago’s Mexican Grill: Open Daily serving from 11AM
