(DEMING. NM) — National retailer Cost Plus World Market has selected St. Clair Winery's Mimosa for a sales program in over 248 stores nationwide, according to the winery's business development manager. Full distribution of St. Clair Mimosa will be at all locations by June, but it can already be found in Cost Plus World Market locations in California and other western states in May.

Sandra Pacheco, Business Development Manager for St. Clair Winery, has found a lot of interest in the award-winning taste of St. Clair's Mimosa. "After winning a silver medal at the 2010 Long Beach Grand Cru Wine Competition and then a gold for the best value in a U.S. sparkling wine at the 2010 World Value Wine Challenge, there has been a lot of interest in our Mimosa," she said. A blend of fresh-squeezed orange juice and crisp, sparkling Brut, the Mimosa is now distributed in 28 states, and the national promotion planned by Cost Plus World Market will bring the taste of New Mexico wine to the entire nation. "It's an exciting time for St. Clair, and the entire New Mexico wine industry," Pacheco added.

St. Clair wines have increasingly been recognized nationwide. At the recent San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, St. Clair's Gewurztraminer was named the "Best White Wine" in the nation. St. Clair is headquartered in Deming, New Mexico, and their wines are available in many locations throughout the southwest, including at the St. Clair Winery and Bistro locations in Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Farmington. The wines can also be experienced at the St. Clair Tasting Room in Deming, and from fine wine retailers throughout the region. St. Clair wines are available on the Internet at www.southwestwines.com.
