Albuquerque - Tickets for the second annual New Mexico Bowl are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased at the University of New Mexico box office on online at www.newmexicobowl.com. After a successful inaugural Bowl Game, ticket prices will not be increased for 2007. Premium seats can be purchased for $30, tickets in the North end zone are $23 and the McDonald’s family zone, located in the South end zone will feature four tickets for $60 with a voucher from New Mexico McDonald’s.
 

“We want to offer a fantastic Bowl experience and make it affordable,” said Jeff Siembieda, New Mexico Bowl Executive Director. “We thank everyone involved for a tremendous response in our inaugural year and we plan to build this event into a New Mexico holiday time tradition. Part of that tradition will be affordable tickets so families will be able to enjoy everything the New Mexico Bowl has to offer.”

New Mexico Bowl II will showcase a team from the Mountain West Conference against a team from the Western Athletic Conference on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at University Stadium in Albuquerque. The game will kickoff at 2:30pm (MST) and will be televised to a national audience on ESPN. The inaugural New Mexico Bowl was played in front of 34,111 fans and a national television audience, who saw San Jose State defeat New Mexico 20-12 on December 23, 2007.
