ALBUQUERQUE – The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) is proud to announce the fifth annual “Women & Creativity,” a month-long celebration of women and the arts beginning this March at various locations in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. This year’s program, sponsored by Mark Pardo Salons, celebrates the achievements and accomplishments of women through a diverse mix of workshops, exhibits, concerts, lectures and theatrical performances. This year 30 organizations, artists, writers, and independent business owners are partnering to offer exciting and engaging programs and activities. Although the focus is on women’s creativity and expression men are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate in these events.
The NHCC, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Hispanic art and culture at the local, state, national, and international levels.
