Every year since 1988, Wine Spectator has compiled a list of the most exciting wines reviewed over the past 12 months. These 100 wines reflect significant trends, recognize outstanding producers and spotlight successful regions and vintages around the world. Every major wine region in the world is reviewed. This year, New Mexico’s very own Gruet Winery was named to the list at a prestigious #43. Our Blanc de Noirs NV was given a rating of 90 points earlier in the year and is now recognized as one of the best wines in the world.

Wine Spectator also came out with a Recommended Sparkling Wines from the United States list for 2011. Three of our NV sparkling wines were named to that list. They include the Gruet Rose NV, Gruet Brut NV and Gruet Blanc de Noirs NV. Gruet Winery is featured in four articles in the current issue of Wine Spectator.

Gruet winery is proud to have our roots in Champagne, France and our success built in New Mexico. These recent accolades are solidifying Gruet’s place in the world’s wine industry as well as New Mexico’s visibility as a wine producing region.
