AlbuquerqueAt the 15th Annual Youth National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show (Youth Nationals), the hot young Nashville group Emerson Drive with the #1 hit song Moments, will bring their 12-piece band to Albuquerque in what is sure to be one of most memorable events ever seen at Youth Nationals.

The group recently cracked the Country Charts with the #1 hit song Moments, and their new single, You Still Own Me was released Monday, July 16, and could well follow that into the Top Ten. It's another track from their "Countrified” album. The verses have an infectious melody, the choruses are catchy, and the boys show how good they are at close multi-part harmonies without overdoing it.

They will appear live on the Box car Stage at Expo New Mexico, on Wednesday, August 1, with guest Harvard graduate turned singer/songwriter, Liz Carlisle.

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.com. At only $15 per ticket, it’s a great opportunity to take the whole family to see a hot young band on the way up!

The Youth Nationals will celebrate its 15th anniversary in Albuquerque, N.M., when it returns to Expo New Mexico July 28-Aug. 4, 2007. According to the Visit Albuquerque, this event brings approximately 5,000 attendees to Albuquerque generating 2,553 room nights and more than $4.4 million in direct spending.

Competition starts Saturday July 28, and runs through Saturday, August 4. Classes run from 8 a.m. through 10 p.m. each day and are divided into morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Admission to all performances is free for the duration of the show. Last year’s event drew 6,000 spectators. Prizes such as saddles, plaques, ribbons and trophies are part of the award mix.

The top National Reining Horse Association money winner Shawn Flarida will be a guest clinician along with professionals Crystal McNutt and Joel Kiesner.
