Albuquerque has 3.6 million visitors every year; which amounts to 9,863 per day! This makes customer service a top priority to create the best experience possible for our visitors. Customer service expert, Ann Rhoades, will illustrate the value of providing top-notch service. She is internationally renowned and has developed programs for Southwest Airlines, JetBlue Airways, P.F. Chang’s, Doubletree Hotels and Promus Hotel Corporation. She will speak about how Albuquerque can claim our place as an outstanding customer-oriented destination.
Following Ms. Rhoades’ speech, Bob Murphy, chair of the Hospitality Training Advisory Committee, will introduce the A.C.E. (Albuquerque Concierge Excellence) training program developed by Visit Albuquerque in partnership with CNM and the CNM Workforce Training Center.
Front-line hospitality employees will be invited to attend the future training classes that will be held monthly throughout the year. The first such training will be on June 29th. The classes will sharpen employees’ knowledge of customer service and hospitality in order to ensure Albuquerque is an exceptional customer orientated destination.
Rhoades will be available for interviews from 3:30-3:45 prior to her presentation.
