The Museum's extensive north grounds will be the site where at least 100 vehicles will be on display from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Most car buffs love sharing stories, so this is the perfect opportunity to talk to owners and find out more about their special vehicles.
The all-ages event will have live musical entertainment, food and beverage vendors, "lighter-than-air" exhibits, a silent auction to benefit the Classic Chevy Club of Albuquerque and the Balloon Museum, and a lot of activities for the kids.
For attendees, admission to the event and the museum is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors 65+, $1 for children 4 - 12, and kids 3 and under are FREE. Admissions will be sold at the museum's box office.
Vehicle entries are still being accepted at a cost of $35. The entry fee for any motorized vehicle includes a custom event T-shirt, two car show/museum admissions, an inaugural trading pin and more. It is strongly suggested that interested parties register very soon to ensure their participation.
A $200 cash prize will be awarded to top 5 vote getters among all categories, except for People's Choice Award. Custom designed trophies will be awarded in all categories for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Prizes like a new set of tires, framed photo of your car/truck/motorcycle, and free entry into the 2015 show will be given to winning entries.
Vendors are invited to apply in two categories: Selling, and display only. The fee for a merchandise vendor is $50 per booth, and for exhibit-only vendors it is $25 per booth.
