The inaugural Routes ‘Bikes and Brews’ tour will take place on April 21, 2013, and will continue on the third Sunday of each month thereafter to explore exceptional breweries, microbrews, and bike routes throughout the city.‘Bikes and Brews’ is a unique bicycle experience that combines the spectacular scenery of Albuquerque’s bike paths with professionally guided beer tastings and VIP back-room tours. Each installment will feature at least three distinct craft breweries and a selection of highly-rated local microbrews, with distinct routes and breweries to be highlighted each quarter. Bike and beer lovers can mount up on Routes’ signature, yellow-tired cruisers or choose to ride a hybrid, mountain, road, or tandem bike.
‘Bikes and Brews’ is the first professionally-led bicycle brewery tour in Albuquerque, and brings a fresh spin to the microbrew sampling experience. All tour packages may be customized with a number of amenities including sealed growlers (to take home upon returning to Routes) and extended rentals. For those who prefer to make their own way, Routes will debut a variety of self-guided experience packages in April which include bike rentals, sampling certificates, and suggested routes / maps.
