In Contemporary Rhythm: The Art of Ernest L. Blumenschein, Now through August 7th
This exhibition celebrates the life and art of Ernest Blumenschein (1874-1960), one of the founders of the Taos Society of Artists and one of the most accomplished of the group. In Contemporary Rhthym presents about 60 major paintings, illustrations and sketches, is organized by The Albuquerque Museum, the Denver Museum of Art, and the Phoenix Museum of Art. Trappings: A National Traveling Exhibition with Two Girls Working, Now through August 16th
516 ARTS presents the NM exhibition in the national tour of Trappings, created by artists Tiffany Ludwig and Renee Piechocki. Trappings begins by asking women to answer: what do you wear that makes you feel powerful? “Two Girls Working” have interviewed over 530 women in 15 states.
