AURORA, COLO. - Youth competitors of all ages will return to Albuquerque to compete for the top honors in the country on Arabian and Half-Arabian horses. Celebrating its 14th year in New Mexico, the annual Youth National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show will be held at Expo New Mexico, Saturday July 19 through Saturday July 26, 2014. Admission and parking are free to the general public.

Join the Arabian Horse Association (AHA) for 8 days of family fun. With fun activities and events for the kids and a great shopping expo for the adults, this event is more than just a horse show. However, be sure to catch some of the competition during the class sessions beginning at 8 AM, 1 PM, and 7 PM respectively each day.

Equestrians 18 and younger from all 18 recognized AHA regions within the United States and Canada will be competing for the National Championship title in an eclectic range of divisions. Classes include English, Country, Hunter, and Western Pleasure, Working Western, Equitation, Halter, and much more.

To compete at Youth Nationals, competitors must qualify by either earning the appropriate points or placings at AHA-recognized horse shows throughout the year. The show serves as a culmination point for a year's worth of hard work, dedication and passion for the Arabian breed.
