“There has already been international media attention and coverage about AFME with the participation of Robert Redford, Sibylle Szaggars-Redford, director Joshua Michael Stern, United Kingdom sleep artist Lee Hadwin, Americans for the Arts CEO Robert Lynch, and famed composers Morten Lauridsen and David Thor Jonsson,” said Lainie S. Quirk and Ivan Wiener, Executive Producers. “The City of Albuquerque and the Visit Albuquerque are as thrilled as we are about the program, the interest from the Hollywood community both here and abroad and the number of statewide, national and international travelers already confirmed to attend.”
Along with the four premieres, actors Elizabeth Pena, Jeremiah Bitsui and Raoul Trujillo will be in attendance for the screening of the highly anticipated Lionsgate feature, “Blaze You Out.” Actor/director Federico Castelluccio from The Sopranos will be screening “Keep Your Enemies Closer, Checkmate.” Emily Katz, head makeup and special effects supervisor for Charlie Sheen’s Anger Management and Lost will be doing a featured “Intimate Conversation” at Albuquerque's Great Face and Body Eco-Urban Lifestyle Market. New Mexico resident and producer Tony Mark and actors Wes Studi and Steven Michael Quezada will be joining the festival as well.
AFME and SAG-AFTRA are also proud to present The Lone Ranger panel with the actors who played the Rangers in Disney’s July 3rd release starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer – Chad Brummett, Lou Temple (The Walking Dead), Damon Carney, Robert Baker and Kevin Wiggins.
