The 2007 Albuquerque Century & Downtown Criterium

THE RIDES:

The 100 mile route has everything a strong touring rider wants in a day with 2 big climbs, miles of rollers, with views of the beautiful Sandia Mountains and city. A total of 5 feed zones with food, water and great staff are along the way. There are also optional 50 and 65 mile routes available to satisfy all levels of cycling abilities as well as a flat, scenic 25 mile ride, perfect for new riders and families with children.

THE RACES:

Chosen as the 2007 NM State Criterium Championships, this criterium course is the only one of its kind in the State of New Mexico. An absolutely flat, fast course on closed city streets. It circles Civic Plaza with left and right turns thrown in just for fun. This ACA sanctioned cycling event is the New Mexico State Criterium Championships for 2007. Races will begin at 12 p.m. and continue into the early evening.

THE DAY OF THE EVENT: June 2nd, 2007

THE COST: $35 for either event.

THE LOCATION: Downtown Sports & Wellness in the First Plaza (Galeria) on Tijeras Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Streets.
