The Pizza Trail is the first of its kind in New Mexico. It will be held on Sunday, July 17th from 1:00pm - 4:30pm. Riders will try thin crust, New York style pizza in Downtown, pizza in a 150-year-old hacienda in Old Town, and cross the Rio Grande for wood oven pizza at a contemporary Italian Trattoria followed by a taste of the newest neighborhood pizzeria on the west side.
The Pizza Trail Includes round-trip transportation on a completely-custom, uniquely-Albuquerque, open-air trolley, pizza trivia (with great prizes), behind-the-scenes tours of each pizza parlor, and pizza samples at each location! Riders will also receive dough-tossing lessons at JC's New York Pizza Department and make their own pizza pie to take home with them at Nicky V's Pizzeria.
The Pizza Trail features the following Albuquerque pizzerias:
JC's New York Pizza Department (Downtown)
Old Town Pizza Parlor (Old Town)
Il Vicino (West Side)
Nicky V's Neighborhood Pizzeria (West Side)
The Pizza Trail begins/ends at JC's New York Pizza Department (215 Central Ave. NW) in downtown Albuquerque. The price is all-inclusive and is $45. Only 34 seats are available.
