ABQ Trolley Co. has been busy responding to emails and phone calls from visitors planning their Albuquerque vacation around the company's popular Breaking Bad tour, the BaD Tour. In response to the overwhelming interest in the tour, ABQ Trolley Co. has cooked up a brand new tour for Breaking Bad fans: BaD Tour 2.0. The BaD Tour 2.0 is a 2-hour tour of Breaking Bad locations. It features all new locations not found on the original, 3.5-hour BaD Tour. It is a tour that the die-hard fan will not want to miss. The BaD Tour 2.0 costs $50 and will be offered on select Sundays throughout the 2014 Season.
The first BaD Tour 2.0 will be held as part of ABQ Trolley Co.'s BaD Weekend, June 28-29, 2014. Riders can join ABQ Trolley Co. on Saturday, June 28th (1pm) for the BaD Tour and then again on Sunday, June 29th (12pm) for the first ever BaD Tour 2.0. The BaD Weekend was designed to offer visitors an entire weekend of Breaking Bad entertainment. The Breaking Bad-themed tours board at Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town. The hotel is also a sponsor of the BaD Weekend and they are offering special, discounted rates for BaD Weekend participants. Hotel Albuquerque is offering a rate of $139 per night (includes breakfast for two at Garduno's) and $129 per night (no breakfast). ABQ Trolley Co. partners, Bathing Bad (part of Great Face & Body), will also be holding a private BaD Cooking Class to teach BaD Weekend participants how to make Blue Sky Candy and how to mix Bathing Bad Bath Salts. Also participating in the BaD Weekend, BaD Tour sponsor, Cocina Azul, will be offering a special dinner on Saturday, June 28th for BaD riders.
June and July BaD Tour dates and the BaD Weekend go on sale from abqtrolley.com Monday, May 26th at 8:00am. The BaD Weekend will also be offered July 26-27, 2014 and on select weekends throughout the 2014 Season.
