ALBUQUERQUE, NM—Each Wednesday from June 1 through August 31, the ABQ BioPark invites you to take advantage of the beautiful weather and longer days of summer with an evening visit to our facilities. With sponsors Univision Nuevo Mexico and Jose 105.9 FM, the BioPark will celebrate "Zooper Miércoles" as the Zoo, Aquarium and Botanic Garden stay open until 8 p.m. each Wednesday.
Admission to the Zoo or Aquarium/Garden on "Zooper Miércoles" will be $5 for adults and $2 for children (3-12) and seniors (65+). Tickets will be available on Wednesdays from 5-7:30 p.m. at the gate. Advance and online ticket sales are not available; combo tickets will not be sold. Daytime guests are welcome to stay into the evening--no additional purchase required. BioPark Members can enjoy "Zooper Wednesdays" for free.
"Early evening is a great time to visit the BioPark in summer. We are excited to extend our hours on Wednesdays for families to enjoy more time here,” said Rick Janser, ABQ BioPark Director. "We feel that "Zooper Wednesdays" is a great value for everyone in Albuquerque."
Relax after a long day at work with a picnic dinner or bring your family and dine at the Shark Reef Cafe at the Aquarium or the Cottonwood Cafe at the Zoo. Enjoy a stroll through the Sasebo Japanese Garden at the Botanic Garden, or visit the animal exhibits at the Zoo.
