Sumner & Dene is honored to present our 2018 FIGURE SHOW with guest artist Holly Roberts March 2-31 with an Opening Reception Friday, March 2, 5-8pm. National and Internationally recognized Albuquerque artist Holly Roberts, the queen of the collage, uses paint and her own photographs to create images that are filled with humor, irony, and mythology. Holly, who has received two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships, works abstractly first, painting on a panel before applying her signature photographic elements. Many of the country's collage artists have studied under Holly Roberts. Other artists creating figurative images in this year's Figure Show include Albuquerque paintersMark Horst, Mary Moore Bailey, copper enamelist David Snow and sculptor Frank Keith.
