ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – (March 25, 2011) The 2011 New Mexico International Auto Show drives automotive excitement into the Albuquerque Convention Center, Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17 with hundreds of the latest cars, crossovers, trucks and more. From hot pre-production models to the latest alternative fuel vehicles, this automotive extravaganza is the ideal location for families, car fanatics and consumers in the market for a new car.

Attendees are invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, sit behind the wheels, inspect engines, learn about new fuel-saving automotive technologies and even take a test drive in new models. Cruise around the auto show floor and check out the latest hybrids and electric-powered vehicles including the plug-in electric Chevrolet Volt, Honda CR-Z, Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and more. The auto show will also feature hot pre-production models including the 2012 Ford Focus, 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302, 2012 Ford C-MAX, 2012 FIAT 500 and the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible.

Showgoers in the market for something more upscale will not want to miss the Southwest Hall of the Albuquerque Convention Center as it’s transformed into Luxury Hall. Back by popular demand, the luxurious space will showcase the latest high-end imports from Audi, Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Lotus, Volvo and more.

The Ford Focus Test Drive invites attendees to get behind the wheel of several Ford vehicles. In addition to the all-new 2012 Focus, test drive vehicles include the Explorer, Edge, Mustang, Super Duty, F-150 SVT Raptor and F-150 with EcoBoost. Ride and drive hours are Friday, April 15 from 12 noon until 6 p.m., Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Plus don’t miss The Chrysler Drive at the New Mexico International Auto Show.
