Cruise around the auto show floor and check out the latest hybrids and electric-powered vehicles including the plug-in electric Chevrolet Volt, Honda CR-Z, Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and more. The auto show will also feature hot pre-production models including the 2012 Ford Focus, 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302, 2012 Ford C-MAX, 2012 FIAT 500 and the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible.
Showgoers in the market for something more upscale will not want to miss the Southwest Hall of the Albuquerque Convention Center as it’s transformed into Luxury Hall. Back by popular demand, the luxurious space will showcase the latest high-end imports from Audi, Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Lotus, Volvo and more.
The Ford Focus Test Drive invites attendees to get behind the wheel of several Ford vehicles. In addition to the all-new 2012 Focus, test drive vehicles include the Explorer, Edge, Mustang, Super Duty, F-150 SVT Raptor and F-150 with EcoBoost. Ride and drive hours are Friday, April 15 from 12 noon until 6 p.m., Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Plus don’t miss The Chrysler Drive at the New Mexico International Auto Show. Test-drive some of Chrysler’s best-selling vehicles including the Chrysler 200, Chrysler 300, Chrysler Town & Country, Jeep® Compass, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Dodge Durango, Dodge Journey, and Ram 1500. Plus the new FIAT 500 will be available, making attendees among the first to drive this much-anticipated new entry to the U.S. market. Showgoers age 21 and older are also invited to hop behind the wheels of the latest models from Chevrolet at the Chevy In Motion Test Drive Event. New model vehicles will be available for weekend test drives including the Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze, Equinox, Traverse and Motor Trend’s 2011 Truck of the Year®, the Silverado HD. Ride and drive hours are Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Test drives are even available for the kids! Children ages 3-9 can test-drive the hottest vehicles, like the Jeep® Wrangler, the Barbie® Convertible and the Hummer in the Kids Autobahn. This fun activity is going on all show days.
