Spanish Wine Tasting

Instituto Cervantes Albuquerque will host a Wine Tasting Seminar on May 24th, 25th and 26th at the Grand Hall and the restaurant Farm & Table in collaboration with the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Helio San Miguel is a Spanish professional from Madrid who works as New York’s Correspondent for Club de Gourmets -Spain´s leading wine and food magazine- and he will be the presenter. This event represents our love for gourmet Spanish products and the will to spread the word about them. Spain has an ancient winemaking tradition, it is the third largest wine producer and the second wine exporter according to the International Wine Office. The Wine Tasting will consist of three different seminars, each one providing a variety of 10 types of wine. Schedule: Wednesday, 24th at 6 to 8:30pm. The seminar will lead participants to the region of La Rioja and it will be celebrated at the Grand Hall within the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Thursday, 25th at 6:30 to 9pm. Helio San Miguel will be introducing the area from Ribera del Duero to Galicia and the seminar will be celebrated at the restaurant Farm & Table. Friday, 26th at 6 to 8:30pm. The seminar will delve into the area encompassing the Mediterranean arch, from Andalusia to Catalonia and it will be celebrated at the Grand Hall within the National Hispanic Cultural Center. The price for a single day is $50 and $70 if attending on 25th to Farm & Table (wine tasting + tapas at the restaurant).
