Live Music: The Bus Tapes

Hailing from Santa Fe, N.M., The Bus Tapes are a “fresh and funky” band comprised of Heather Tanner on vocals and guitar, Case Tanner on bass, David Gold on guitar and Josh English on drums. Playing together for nearly a decade, they combine original songs and covers of fan favorites to create eclectic folk rock sets with a blues and jazz-inspired twist. The Bus Tapes have won two New Mexico Music Awards—the first in 2012 for “Best Novelty/ Humorous Song” and the second in 2013 for “Best Pop Song.”
