Live Music: Little Leroy and His Pack of Lies

Equal parts musicians and entertainers, Little Leroy and His Pack of Lies is a popular cover band that performs throughout central New Mexico. The band consists of its namesake member, Leroy—whose real name is Murali Levine—on lead guitar and vocals, Jake Jones on rhythm guitar, Myron Zuidema on bass and Warren Stewart on drums. Inspired most prominently by the iconic musical stylings of Jimi Hendrix, the band delivers an eclectic, high-energy brand of rock ‘n’ roll that incorporates elements of pop, funk and blues into its music. Renditions of songs by artists ranging from the Beatles and Neil Young to B.B. King and Bob Marley are some of the band’s staples. In between songs, the members of Little Leroy and His Band of Lies amuse their audiences with clever, witty banter and Vaudeville-esque entertainment.
