Land of Enchantment Fly-In

Intrigued with aviation? Come to the Double Eagle II Airport for this 27th annual Fly In and see aircraft gathering from all over the state. Learn about aviation careers, aircraft types, and how airplanes fly. Stroll the aircraft flight line, explore the Exhibit Hall, kids of all ages enjoy Youth Aviator Activities and pull a rivet at the Builder's Corner. Enjoy free pancakes and burgers! Helicopters, gliders, antique, light sport, amateur built, and production airplanes on display for judging. The "Chile Flight", a local formation flying team with amateur built aircraft is expected. Military vehicles and classic cars. This is a family event with aviation fun for all ages!  Directions: Take I-40 or Paseo del Norte west to Atrisco Vista Blvd NW, follow airport signs. Sponsored by EAA Chapter 179. The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) was founded in 1953 by a group interested in building their own airplanes. Today, EAA is a community of recreational pilots and builders, dedicated to sharing their love of aviation.
