BioPark Behind-the-Scenes Tour: Reptiles

Come face to face with some of the BioPark’s “striking beauties” on a keeper-guided adventure. Enjoy a backstage experience to view deadly—and not so deadly—reptiles up close. Your tour begins behind the scenes in the Reptile House where you will see how keepers care for this scaly collection. Learn how staff create specialized diets for some very complex animals, and find out how (and why) they handle the large and highly venomous reptiles. You will also have the chance to touch some of the non-venomous reptiles—be sure to bring your camera! Next comes the Crocodile House, where you will walk out on a gangway for a closer look at the huge saltwater crocodile and the critically endangered slender-snouted crocodile. All proceeds directly benefit the animals seen on the tour.
