BioPark Behind-the-Scenes Family Tour: Elephants

This version of the elephant tour offers a more family-friendly experience! It includes the best features of our regular tour but with special hands-on activities for the kids. The tour will begin at the elephant watering hole, where keepers will explain our management system, elephant training, and share in-depth and personal stories about each of our six Asian elephants. The tour will move into our Bull Barn where you will learn about elephant behavioral enrichment and see what it takes to house a 12,000-pound elephant. Children will then have the opportunity to create elephant enrichment items and step into an elephant footprint! We will finish with the chance to meet one of our amazing elephants (as determined by Zoo staff).

Please note that peanuts are used in the elephant barns. If you have a peanut allergy, please call us before you book a tour.
