Albuquerque prides itself on outdoor activities, and there's still plenty to do in the winter months despite the chillier temps. Here are a couple of ideas for you and your family to try!
Play in the snow at Sandia Peak
Head to the top of the Sandia mountains for the freshest powder in Albuquerque. You can either ride the Tram or drive up the east side of the mountain to get to the ski (and snowboard) area. Other fun snow activities include sledding and snowshoeing on the mountain, and year-round activities such as hiking and biking are also still accessible during the winter.
Cook green chile stew
