Several Albuquerque events took place today in remembrance of the victims, families and first responders of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, including a continued tradition at the Bank of Albuquerque building downtown. Albuquerque firefighters climbed the 110 stories at the bank building in honor of the first responders who died in the attacks. The stair climb has taken place since 2003 here in Albuquerque.
