  • 80th Annual New Mexico State Fair

The New Mexico State Fair celebrates its 80th birthday! Ranked by SmartAsset.com as the 2nd best state fair in the country and 3nd most affordable state fair in the nation by Home2Go, the New Mexico State Fair includes a PRCA rodeo and performances by nationally-known country  stars, plus Indian and Spanish villages, all in the heart of Albuquerque. Visitors can explore art, agriculture, animals, entertainment, food, carnival rides, exhibits and shopping at one of the largest state fairs in the country.

  • 2018 New Mexico State Fair Concert-Rodeo Lineup

Almost every night of the New Mexico State fair features a top-notch concert or PRCA Rodeo. This week’s lineup includes: Tonight – PRCA Rodeo with Dan + Shay, Thursday – PRCA Rodeo with Eagles tribute band, Hotel California, Friday – PRCA Rodeo with Maddie and Tae with High Valley, Saturday - PRCA Rodeo with Collective Soul, Sunday – PRCA Rodeo

  • 2nd Annual Dino Dash

Get some exercise with the family in a fun way at the Dino Dash! Participants are encouraged but not required to wear their most authentic dinosaur costume and can enter for a chance to win the costume contest! There will be a 5K run and Fitness Walk as well as a 1K Kids Fun Run. Don’t forget to enter the raffle for great prizes including a 1-year family membership to the museum!

  • Live Music: The United States Navy Band Northwest

The United States Navy Band Northwest will be presenting a live, free concert. As a part of Albuquerque Navy Week, the Navy Band's famous rock band will play pop hits and fun tunes to keep Downtown Albuquerque lively during the busy lunch hour. Food trucks and vendors will surround the civic plaza area. All ages are welcome!

  • 9th Annual Fundraiser Gala: Honoring Pueblo Women

Join in for an evening that celebrates resilience, leadership and inspiration in Pueblo women with art, food, dance, and history at the 9th Annual Gala Fundraiser supporting IPCC’s Oral Histories of Contemporary Pueblo Women in Service, Leadership, and the Arts project. Join in the excitement of competition and luck with our silent and live auctions, exclusively featuring works by Native American women artisans in keeping with this year’s theme. Enjoy delicious pre-contact cuisine prepared by the award-winning Pueblo Harvest culinary team as you dine in our mural-lined courtyard beneath an open sky. Also, there’s going to be a big surprise in store – but you’ll have to be there to see it.

  • Performance: Yo Soy Joaquin

Yo Soy Joaquin is the epic tale of the history of the Mexica tribe and it's evolution, from pre-Columbian times to today. This one-man show, based on the poem Yo Soy Joaquin, written by Rudolfo Corky Gonzales during the civil rights movement of the 1960's, is set to stage by Patricio Tlacaelel Trujillo y Fuentes. The show has seen standing ovations and rave reviews. "  Trujillo y Fuentes makes quite a spectacle of the performance, exploding onto the stage..." Robert Spiegel/Talkin' Broadway.
