NME Movie Night Presents Back to the Future

New Mexico Entertainment Magazine presents this month's late night movie at The Guild Cinema, Back To the Future. In this 1980s sci-fi classic, small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is thrown back into the '50s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes awry. Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents (Crispin Glover, Lea Thompson), and must make sure that they fall in love or he'll cease to exist. Even more dauntingly, Marty has to return to his own time and save the life of Doc Brown.  NME Movie Night is a LIMITED seat event. MOVIEPASS NOT ACCEPTED.

35th Anniversary Campfire Event

Bring out the whole family for an evening under the stars hearing about the legends of Open Space including thrilling tales of heroism and adventure. Hot chocolate and s’mores will be provided along with a presentation and slide show by Rex Funk and Dr. Matthew Schmader, kids’ activities, and more! Japanese Fall Festival:  AKI Matsuri 2019

Celebrate the NMJACL’s annual fall festival Aki Matsuri on Sunday, September 22nd featuring Japanese cultural exhibits, vendor fair, musical demonstrations, Japanese art, Japanese food, SUSHI from Japanese Kitchen, Beer and Sake tastings and more!  The New Mexico Japanese-American Citizens League (NMJACL) has been hosting Aki Matsuri (trans.: fall festival) for over 20 years. The festival is the main annual event for NMJACL and serves as a venue to share Japanese and Japanese-American (JA) culture with all of New Mexico. The festival attracts guests and performers from around the state.

2019 Tre´s Chic Hair Show Competition & Fundraiser

In honor of Vincent R. Johnson, creator of Creme De La Do. Trés Chic is a hair show competition benefiting HIV/AIDS organizations throughout New Mexico. Our runway show will feature statewide salons bringing their "A" game. The event will crown a hair salon champion.
