Dia De Los Muertos Celebration

Dia de los Muertos is a day to celebrate loved ones who have passed. This age-old tradition, stemming from Mexico, helps bring happiness and closure to the hearts of the deceased’s loved ones. It is a time to revel in their lives, not mourn their losses. South Broadway Cultural Center is hosting a celebration during this holiday with an art exhibition, a car show, live entertainment, food trucks, and displays of families’ ofrendas (commemorating altars). Bring the family to this free event and join the community for this very special, unique holiday at South Broadway Cultural Center.

Muertos Fiesta

Because it is important to honor the dead through art, music, food and drink we ask that you join us for the 3rd Annual Muertos Fiesta on Saturday, November 2nd from 2-9pm. This is a special celebration featuring live music and performances from Jade MasqueSol De La Noche, Yeztli Tanzt Y Arte and Red Light Cameras! Local artist and vendors will host a Muertos Market and respected altars will be displayed for you to add pictures and candles for the loved ones you're missing.

Day of the Dead Magic Show

Called by many a unique history lesson disguised as a magic show, the performance integrates actual Day of the Dead facts with mysterious magic to make for an unforgettable evening.  Share in the discovery of where it all began, the three levels of the altars and their meanings, and the celebrations of death through life.  The Painted Lady Bed & Brew is featured in Haunted Hotels & Ghostly Getaways of New Mexico.  Limited seating available. When NBC announces a national competition to find the nation’s next great musical superstars, they form a band unlike any the nation has ever seen. Along the way, they discover the power of music to face the impossible, find their voice, and finally feel like they have a place to call home.  “The show defies you not to be moved.” (Time Out New York).
