  • Exhibit: Visions of the Hispanic World: Treasures from the Hispanic Society Museum & Library

An amazing new exhibit is opening in Albuquerque, featuring over 200 of the most exceptional works – the result of nearly 3,000 years of collecting by the Hispanic Society of America. A significant number of these works have not been exhibited outside of the Hispanic Society, and some have never before been exhibited.  To celebrate the opening, head to the museum on Saturday for a special educational session and live Spanish and Flamenco music performed by the Hector Pimentel Group.

  • Performance: Yjastros 33

Yjastros: The American Flamenco Repertory combines the mosaic quality of the American repertory company with the authenticity of Flamenco. They are beginning their 20th year with a weekend-long performance, presenting a stunning display of the emotional and choreographic possibilities within Flamenco.

  • Downtown Growers Winter Market

The temperatures might be dropping, but you can still head downtown for the Grower’s market. Extending 4 weeks after their regular dates at Robinson Park – The Winter Market will take place inside Fusion Theatre. The same great vendors; local farmers, artisans and food vendors will display their ware – just in time for holiday shopping.

  • Performance: Alice, and Adventure of Wonder & Wondering

An exciting interpretation of Lewis Carrol’s Alice in Wonderland is being presented by Keshet Dance Company. This re-imagining of a classic tale features an impressive cast of 135 professional and community dancers – ranging in age from 8 years old to 80! Examine Alice through a new lens - an adventure filled with self-discovery and new possibilities. Sensory-friendly performances are also available, this weekend and next weekend.

  • Concert: Kurbasy

Tricklock Theatre Company, The National Hispanic Cultural Center and the University of New Mexico have teamed up to bring four exciting weeks of global performances from Mongolia, Mexico and the Ukraine to Albuquerque audiences. This weekend, Kurbasy, a folk-based multimedia performance group will be visiting the Duke City. Their performances feature Ukraine’s rich trove of lullabies, calendar songs and legends which conjure thoughts of the natural world, beliefs and rituals.

  • Yoga Tuesdays at Bow & Arrow

Bow & Arrow Brewing Company is a relative newcomer to the brewing scene here in Albuquerque, and if you haven’t stopped by for a pint this is the perfect opportunity. YogaZo is hosting her fun class at their taproom every Tuesday night. After class, enjoy $1 off your choice of brew.

  • 21st Annual New Mexico Veteran's Art Exhibit

Active Duty Military Members, Veterans and their spouses will be displaying their works of art in a special exhibition through the end of November. Stop by to see paintings, drawings, sculpture, jewelry and much more.
