Brew Year's Eve Dinner
New Year, new beer! Rio Bravo Brewing Company is celebrating the launch of their newest brew with a white & black themed New Year’s Eve party. The evening will begin with dinner in the barrel room – a full four-course meal will be served, and a specialty beer paired with each course (including dessert!). Stick around after dinner for live music, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
Ice Qube Skating at Civic Plaza
For the fourth year in a row, slap on your skates and head downtown for some “ice” skating in Civic Plaza. The rink is made from a synthetic material, not ice. This makes the rink less slick and great for beginners! Decorations will still be up in the plaza, prime time to squeeze in the last bit of holiday cheer.
'Noon' Year's Eve Celebration
12 midnight might be too late for the kids to celebrate the beginning of a new year, but Explora has them covered; celebrate with a countdown and balloon drop at 12 noon! 2,019 balloons will be dropped from the ceiling down to the fountain below. Be sure to get there a little early to check out the exhibits before Explora closes early for the holiday.
Barrel-Aged Beer & Cheese
Everyone loves a cold one from Marble Brewery. Tomorrow night provides a unique opportunity try four special-edition barrel aged brews, that aren’t always available to the typical taproom fan. Each beer will be expertly paired with organic, delectable cheeses and charcuterie accouterments provided by Whole Foods.
New Year's Resolution Dinner
Need one last hurrah before committing to those New Year’s Resolutions? Slate Street has you covered. Say goodbye to 2018 with a scrumptious five-course meal paired with wine and a good time. Perfect for those who want to celebrate, and then be asleep in bed before the New Year begins! Space is limited, and reservations are required.
New Year's Eve Trolley Bar Crawl
Why go to one New Year’s Eve celebration when you can go to five? ABQ Trolley Company is providing a fun, and safe way to enjoy the night. Hop on the trolley and head to different bars in the Nob Hill area, including The Copper Lounge and Nob Hill Bar & Grill among others. VIP access with no lines and no covers will be provided to tour goers, and enjoy special drink and appetizer specials at each location. Return back to The Social Club at 11 pm for a special VIP countdown to the New Year.
Winter Market - Los Rancho's Grower's Market
Enjoy the brisk winter air in Los Ranchos the 2nd Saturday of each month, December through April. Complimentary cookies and hot beverages will be available to enjoy while you peruse great local produce, arts & crafts, jewelry and delicious food. Don’t miss out on live music performed by Robert Roman. The winter market runs from 10 to noon.
