  • SOMOS ABQ

Albuquerque’s newest and brightest downtown festival is coming back for its second year! Experience a cultivation of all the best that Albuquerque has to offer including top-notch local food vendors, life-size interactive art installations, tech, a beer and wine garden, and live music on four separate stages! This year’s lineup includes many local musicians as well as world-class headliners Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, NGHTMRE, Robbie Jude, and Jay Electronica. This is the ultimate Albuquerque festival you won’t want to miss!   

  • Mountain West Brew Fest

Quench your thirst at the upcoming Mountain West Brew Fest that showcases New Mexico’s highly acclaimed craft breweries, exceptional beers, and talented craft brewers from the Mountain West Region! This one-day festival also features spirits, cider, live music, and comes with a complimentary pint glass! Pints and growlers will also be sold during the event.

  • ABQ Latin Dance Festival 2018

Grab your dancing shoes and turn up the heat at the annual Albuquerque Latin Dance Festival. The four-day rhythm and movement celebration features live performances by world-class dancers as well as non-competitive dance showcases, parties, and workshops. Additional attractions include dance films and lectures. Saturday night will feature four of Albuquerque’s favorite Salsa/Latin bands on one stage: Son Como Son, Charanga del Valle, and Ivon Ulibarri & Cafe Mocha. This is a rare opportunity to experience all of our favorite bands on one stage for live music, dancing, performances, food, fun, and more!

  • Giving Day at the Rail Yards Market

The Rail Yards Market believes that the spirit of giving should be a year-round constant! At this weekend’s market, enjoy delicious food, live, smooth music, a free yoga class, and a classic car show, all for a great cause! Donations will be collected for a food drive for St. Vincent de Paul, a non-profit that hosts a free food day for Barelas residents on the last Saturday of every month. Don’t miss the education fun at the Steam Zone or the Kids Zone, featuring educational workshops, games, craft projects, and presentations!   

  • Rude Boy Brunch & Day Party

Featuring soulful’ Reggae music, an all-you-can-eat-brunch-buffet, a full-service bar, and a vendor market, this family-friendly event will celebrate the close of summer and support our local teachers. The huge brunch buffet features everything from traditional breakfast fare to a waffle station and taco station. The full-service bar will include mimosas and a separate Bloody Mary Bar. Rude Boy Cookies will be on site selling their cookies and ice cream sandwiches as well. DJ Ruda will be spinning tunes all afternoon, and two live Reggae bands – Iyah Band and headliner, Reviva. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Golden Apple Foundation, which supports teachers in New Mexico through recognition and professional development opportunities.

  • Night Walk at the Botanic Garden

Take a walk on the wild side…at night! Explore the Garden under the light of the moon! Bring your family and explore the wonders of nightfall as you walk on a guided tour through the Garden in search of night-blooming plants, nocturnal animals and night pollinators.

  • 2018 Albuquerque Tomato Fiesta

Tomato-lovers rejoice! Spend a day enjoying heirloom tomato tasting and sales, free gardening seminars where you can get your vegetable questions answered by experts, terrific food from the Albuquerque Area Extension Master Gardeners tomato cafe. Activities for kids, live music by Alpha Blue Trio, cooking demonstrations, tastings, and a garden trade fair will also be available.
