Freedom 4th
Join us at Balloon Fiesta Park to celebrate our country's Independence Day. Enjoy the largest firework show in the state, food, local beer in the Microbrew Garden and free children activities. This year’s headlining band is the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, a county-rock and American-roots band. Opening bands are Sister Mary Mayhem and Joseph General & High Viration. Additionally, enjoy Albuquerque's favorite sweet and savory treats from local food vendors including grilled burgers, fried chicken, roasted corn and good ol' American hot dogs from local food vendors. Stay cool and grab a cold beverage, some ice cream or a snow cone. Visitors can also head to our Microbrew Garden for a great view of the main stage and grab a beer, wine, or spirit from one of many local establishments. Bring the children for free fun including jumpers, two rock walls, free face painting and more!
16th Pork & Brew
The 16th Annual Pork & Brew as seen on "The Cooking Channel's Carnival Eats" will return to the Rio Rancho Events Center. Bringing together the best barbecue vendors from around the region, this three-day festival featuring BBQ, beer, live music and interactive family activities will be one of the biggest events of the summer.
4th Views: Red, White and Balloons
Join us for an all-ages celebration on the Fourth of July. Doors open at 5pm and this is your all-access pass to the best fireworks show in the City of Albuquerque. Get access to premium parking, pack a picnic or stop by one of our food trucks or choose to join our buffet from The Cooperage.
New Mexico Red, White and Blue Run
Come out and get your blood pumping to help fight childhood obesity! RunFit is a not for profit organization designed to help youth of all sizes, fitness and ability levels utilize the discipline of running to improve health, build character and provide opportunities for children to showcase their talents by participating in a number of RunFit sponsored events throughout the community. Events include 10K, 4-Mile and Kids K.
Albuquerque Isotopes vs. Las Vegas Aviators
The Las Vegas Aviators will be in Albuquerque to take on the isotopes for 4 days! You can catch any of the games at the times below: Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6:35 pm Sunday at 6:05 pm Every year from mid-April through late August, the Albuquerque Isotopes are in full swing! The 'Topes are an official Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies and attending games is a summer favorite for many. Come out on the 4th catch the astounding fireworks display – one of the best in the city for the holiday!

Bosque Wild Guided Nature Walk
The Middle Rio Grande river valley is nature’s laboratory with a different lesson plan every season. This is a moderately strenuous guided hike along the banks of the Rio Grande and through one of the largest cottonwood forests in the world. Participants are encouraged to leave their pets at home. Space is limited.
