As we prepare our gardens for the year, having an historical perspective on what our ancestors and predecessor planted and cultivated might give us deeper roots.

Performance: These Shining Lives
These Shining Lives is an inspiring tale of determination, strength and justice that follows a young woman in the 1920s as she works painting the hour markings on watch dials using a radium compound that glows in the dark. As our heroine becomes ill due to radium poisoning, the company turns a blind eye, and she and her co-workers decide to take a stand and fight back. Arrive early and meet the cast of this great show.

Come cheer on the Albuquerque Sol soccer team as they take on the Midland/Odessa Sockers. The Albuquerque Sol is a minor league soccer team in the Premier Developmental League of the United Soccer League.

Albuquerque Wine Festival
The Albuquerque Wine Festival brings together wineries from around the state, food, arts and crafts vendors, and live music at Balloon Fiesta Park. Find the wines you like through sampling, purchase a glass to enjoy on site and buy bottles to take home to enjoy later. This event runs the whole weekend (May 24-26).
