Uncommon Uses of New Mexican Red & Green Chile

Uncommon Uses of New Mexican Red & Green Chile

In New Mexico, we put chile on just about everything! We love the red, green, salsa and even hot sauce varieties. Here are a couple of foods that we would argue are infinitely enhanced by New Mexican chile.

Green Chile Mac & Cheese

A personal favorite of mine, this delicacy is perfect as a main course or a side dish. Try the green chile mac & cheese from Nexus Brewery alongside your favorite lager for some seriously satisfying soul food.

Green Chile Pepperoni Pizza

Just when you thought that pizza couldn't get any better! Green chile is a perfect addition to pepperoni, sausage or even plain ol' cheese pizza. I like to take it a step further and opt for the green chile pizza dough at Golden Crown Panaderia. Chile even adds some extra vitamins, boosts metabolism and can improve digestion...so it makes pizza good for you! Click here to learn more about the health benefits of chile.

Chile-Infused Wine & Beer
