Volunteers Help Make a Difference in the West Bluff Neighborhood

Albuquerque, NM - Keep Albuquerque Beautiful has partnered with the West Bluff Neighborhood Association and volunteers from the UNM Young Alumni Community Service Committee to clean their neighborhood. Each summer Keep Albuquerque Beautiful partners with various neighborhood associations and organizations to clean up litter within their communities. Keeping a clean neighborhood enhances quality of life and keeps it safe.

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful staff will be distributing garbage bags and gloves for cleaning efforts from the Northeast Corner of Wal-Mart (2550 Coors Blvd. NW) parking lot from 9 a.m. – noon, tomorrow, Saturday, July 13th. Join volunteers from West Bluff Neighborhood Association and UNM Young Alumni Community Service Committee to help make a difference.

An affiliate of Keep America Beautiful since 1982, Keep Albuquerque Beautiful is dedicated to community education on all solid waste management issues and alternatives through litter control, beautification, and graffiti eradication activities. These activities are geared toward increasing awareness and changing attitudes through public information.
