Tingley Beach Fishing Report Positive

Trout fishing at Tingley Beach has been exceptionally good this week, reported Tingley Beach Curator Rebecca Houtman. Henry Hale caught a 17” rainbow trout in the South Pond with a light egg pattern. Others have done well in the South Pond with UFOs, midges, griffiths gnats and chamois leeches.  The Central and Children’s Ponds were recently stocked with 3,000 trout and are being caught with yellow Tazmanian devils and yellow power bait.  Bass have been biting well on small white and yellow rubber annelids.
