The Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau announces use of Google interactive maps

Albuquerque, NM – The Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) announces its new interactive Google Maps on www.itsatrip.org.

As indicated by the ACVB’s internal survey, maps are one of the most important features on a travel planning website. ACVB is among the first among convention and visitors bureaus to fully integrate the Google Maps API with its partnership database. The Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau worked with Aristotle Interactive to develop the new custom branded Albuquerque Interactive Maps.

The new interactive maps use Google Maps technology as a foundation, and allow users to customize the information based on their individual preferences. Users can sort and search by location, category or name and utilize all of Google’s built-in features. Some of these features include StreetView, Satellite, Hybrid and Terrain view options as well as Get Directions and Send to Phone from the individual listings.

View maps on the website at www.itsatrip.org/maps/interactive/default.aspx.
