New Mexico Jeep Tours Announces Start of Operations in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe Area

Albuquerque, NMRoch Hart announces the opening of New Mexico Jeep Tours serving the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area. New Mexico Jeep Tours will provide a unique experience for locals, tourists and movie scouts wishing to view off-road sights, which include Spanish homesteads dating back to the 1700s, wagon train stations from the 1800s, and Pueblo ruins dating back as far as 1200 AD. In addition, visitors will view areas that have been identified to be rich in petroglyphs, canyons and mountain ridges - a photographers’ dream. The tours center around, but are not limited to, the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas. All tours are private and limited to three persons to enhance the personal relationship between the guide and tourists.

Hart has spent hundreds of hours scouting potential trails and highlights that are impossible to find with a map. The tour company is permitted by the Bureau of Land Management to allow visits to such sites, and, in fact, New Mexico Jeep Tours is the only off-road tour company in the area to be certified by the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission as safe and fit to transport people to these sites.

“Many of these New Mexico treasures are just out of sight from the road and impossible to find without a guide,” Hart advises. Because of the New Mexico’s rough terrain he has mapped the easiest routes for observing sights and petroglyphs once out of the vehicle.

“I can cater to all levels of fitness and types of attire. Therefore we provide the perfect tour and hiking trails to fit each individual’s abilities and interests,” Hart states.

New Mexico Jeep Tours will operate year-round depending on weather and trail openings with safety being the number one priority. Tours range from three to eight hours in length and can be customized to the interests of the customer and time available. If photography is the goal, times allowing for the most optimal lighting can be arranged for that perfect shot.

Hart provides the only tour company in the immediate area to exclusively use Jeep Wranglers due to their versatility in the New Mexico terrain where larger vehicles have problems navigating narrow trails and trees. The more compact size also means less impact on the environment while the 4-wheel-drive capabilities allow for safe navigation through rains and challenging trails. All Jeeps are equipped with soft-top covers, heating and air conditioning as well.

“There is no better way to experience New Mexico than from a Jeep Wrangler with the top down to take in the desert sun, expansive skies and beautiful views,” Hart states.

Roch Hart is a retired police offer with the Albuquerque Police Department and knows how to keep his guests safe. In addition, he is certified in First Aid and CPR and carries all the necessary equipment and bandages in case of accidents.

Hart will work with any news agency or reporter to provide any additional information including a demonstration tour. Please call ahead for reservations.
