Meeting in Albuquerque is More Affordable in 2009

Offers provide incentives to choose Albuquerque for a short-term booking
Albuquerque, NM – Albuquerque, New Mexico was ranked as the second most affordable destination in the country by AAA in 2008. In addition to being a great value all of the time, the Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau has joined together with convention hotels across the city to offer outstanding incentives for meetings booked and held in 2009.
Albuquerque combines a unique blend of culture and heritage attractions, museums, stunning landscape, galleries and shopping to create a distinct experience for every meeting.
The city provides a variety of convention hotel options, many of which were recently renovated. Twelve properties are either undergoing or recently completed renovation to further improve Albuquerque’s offerings.
Current special offers include the following for meetings book in 2009. The meeting or conference must be held in 2009. All new meetings booked for 2009 will automatically receive:
Total Room Nights Concessions
100 – 200              3% off net room revenue plus pick one concession below
201 – 350              4% off net room revenue plus pick two concessions below
351 and up            5% off net room revenue plus pick three concessions below
Hotel Concessions to Consider
•      No attrition on guest rooms and food and beverage
•      Complimentary high speed internet in sleeping rooms
•      One complimentary room per 40 rooms booked
•      Complimentary Break AM & PM (one day)
•      Complimentary Evening Reception (one time)

•      15% off hotel restaurant or room service for all in-house guests
