As seen on TV shows such as Extreme Home Makeover, (Mike) Holmes Makes It Right, Renovation Nation, Property Brothers and more, the use of Sprayfoam insulation and low-slope roofing is growing by the day.

New Mexico residents can receive free admission to the Sprayfoam 2015 tradeshow on Wednesday and Thursday, January 28-29, at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Exhibits cover the complete range of Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) products and equipment, of interest to homeowners considering the product for home renovation or new construction, or entrepreneurs looking at building a business.

"If you have a local insulation business and are looking to buy a new rig or materials, you should come to the show. Commercial roofers can see options for SPF roofs and augment your business value. If you're a homeowner looking at insulating a new home, remodeling a structure or have any unique insulation needs such as adobe-style homes, you'll get great ideas from these manufacturers and they can provide you with local contractor contacts," said Kurt Riesenberg, executive director of the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance, the SPF industry's trade association.

"Having the major national tradeshow of this industry in your own backyard is a great opportunity to come down and ask questions, compare products, and make plans for your own projects," Riesenberg said. "There is so much interest in Sprayfoam's insulating, air-sealing and architectural benefits today, we'd love to see New Mexicans have access to this great technology and wanted to try something new by opening the expo to the public."

Ty Pennington, host of the two-time Emmy and two-time People's Choice award-winning Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will be in the Lapolla products booth on Wednesday. The public can meet Pennington and take photos.

Tradeshow hours on Wednesday are 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. New Mexico residents 18 and over who show a valid driver's license will receive a free one-day pass to the tradeshow. For safety reasons, children are not admitted to the tradeshow.

The show is in the newly renovated Albuquerque Convention Center, West Building, Hall 3. Attendance at the show is expected to surpass 1,000 individuals active in all aspects of the spray foam industry.
