Kathy Mattea & Nine Bands Make it ONE WILD NIGHT AT THE ZOO

Come out to the Rio Grande Zoo on Saturday, August 2nd from 4:00 to 10:00pm for One Wild Night of music, dancing and fun, featuring Kathy Mattea and nine other bands. You’ll hear everything from blues to folk, bluegrass, Celtic, country and world music performed on seven different stages for this all-new event! (Zoo will close at 3pm and re-open at 4pm the day of the concert.) Learn more!
 
Grammy-winning singer Kathy Mattea (Country/Folk) takes center stage on the main band shell at 7:30pm. Well-known singer of 18 Wheels and a Dozen Roses, Where've You Been and Love at the Five & Dime, Mattea sings a wide variety of music from country to folk and bluegrass to gospel.

Gates open: 4:00 pm (The Zoo will close early at 3:00pm for One Wild Night.)
Event times: 4:00 - 10:00 pm - RAIN OR SHINE! Animal exhibits open until dusk.
Ticket prices: $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and older, and $5 for children 3-12 (children 2 and younger admitted free). No member discounts for this special event.
Seating: General lawn seating. Bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Purchase tickets: One Wild Night tickets are available from any BioPark cashier (at the Zoo or at the Aquarium/Botanic Garden) every day from 9am until one-half hour before closing. Or buy tickets online with a Visa or MasterCard! No telephone orders, please.
Food: Purchase from vendors or bring your own.
Beer and Wine: Available for purchase on-site. You may not bring your own.
