Bike lockers now available at Rail Runner Stations

Get first month of locker rentals Free!
(Albuquerque, NM – April 14, 2011)- Bicycle lockers are now available at six-Rail Runner stations throughout the train corridor. The lockers are complete enclosures designed to hold one-bicycle as well as bicycle gear such as panniers, locks, and lights. Users will receive one key that will only open their locker. Each locker has a unique lock and key to provide maximum security.

“This is a very useful service for people who like to bring their bikes on the train – especially for those who only need their bikes for half of the journey”, says Dewey Cave, Executive Director of the Mid-Region Council of Governments. “For instance if someone needs a bike once they get off the train to complete their trip to work, now they can rent a locker and have the bike waiting for them when they arrive at the station, rather than have to haul it on the train back and forth each day”.
