American Vaulting Association to host Regional Conference

Horseback gymnastics/dance competition provides entertaining spectator event
Albuquerque NM – A unique event will take place March 23-25, 2012 at Expo New Mexico. The local division of the American Vaulting Association will welcome the Region IV Education Conference to Albuquerque, which will provide excellent photo/video opportunities for media.

Vaulting is a unique and growing sport that combines gymnastics and dance on a moving horse. It's a wonderful way to develop coordination, balance, strength, confidence and creativity while working in harmony with your equine partner. Vaulting is for all ages and abilities, and can be utilized in therapeutic, recreational and competitive forms

The media is welcome to attend and encouraged to bring a photographer as the competitions are very visual.

What: Albuquerque Vaulters Association

When: Friday, March 23 – Sunday, March 25

Vaulting clinics will begin at 9am on Saturday and Sunday
(for photo opp or public viewing)
